Sourcing

Our primary focus is reclaimed hardwood recovered from existing buildings and structures, mainly in East Kalimantan and Central Java. Because reclaimed wood is salvaged material rather than newly felled forest timber, it does not carry forest harvest certifications; suitability is verified by physical inspection in our yard, with origin photos and transport paperwork where available.

For projects that require new or plantation-grown teak, or certified timber on request, we supply non-reclaimed wood on a separate pathway with the applicable lot documentation — including SVLK-verified or FSC-certified options on request.

Reusing timber extends the life of material that has already been harvested. Reclaimed timber is our priority, and we label clearly when a product is plantation-grown or new.

Waste reduction

• Wood offcuts: we partner with a designer to create large furniture pieces and decor items from offcuts.
• Home décor: we work with i-rewood to use leftover materials for home décor items.
• Sawdust: fine sawdust is reused in our glue mixtures, and we are exploring partnerships with industries to repurpose other unusable small materials.

Reforestation

We collaborate with Friends of the National Parks Foundation (FNPF) to support reforestation and tree replanting, as a contribution towards the emissions generated by our operations.

Sharing knowledge

We share practical knowledge on timber and construction through our Journal, so that clients can make informed, lower-waste choices in their own projects. Journal

What we do not claim

• Reclaimed wood does not carry SVLK or FSC harvest certification because it is salvaged from existing structures. On request, we can supply SVLK-verified or FSC-certified non-reclaimed timber as a clearly separate option.
• We do not publish quantified environmental figures or claim carbon neutrality on this website.
• Ask us for the documents behind any specific lot and we will share what applies to it.
