Reclaimed Hardwood in Bali
Teak and Bangkirai are our two reference species, with Kapur and Meranti as complements. Here is how they differ, where they come from and how to choose.

| Reclaimed Bangkirai | Shorea laevis | Outdoor decking, pergolas, cladding, exterior structures | Decking, flooring, raw beams |
| Plantation-grown Teak | Tectona grandis | Projects needing consistency, larger quantities or specific sizes | Per lot, on request |
| Kapur · Meranti | Dryobalanops spp. · Shorea spp. | Indoor and semi-indoor flooring, custom milling | Raw sections; flooring on request |

Where reclaimed timber comes from
Our main sourcing regions are East Kalimantan and Central Java. Reclaimed timber is recovered from dismantled buildings and structures, then physically inspected, sorted and prepared at our lumberyard in Saba; as salvaged wood, it carries no harvest certification, though origin photos accompany arrivals where available.
When a project needs certified new or plantation-grown wood, we can also supply SVLK-verified or FSC-certified timber on request as a separate pathway. Learn more in About Kitaru, our Environmental policy and our FAQ.
